Choosing the Best Baby Crib

Choosing the best baby crib can be a very daunting task. There are so many options and styles to choose from. You can purchase one from $75 all the way up to $2000+ (why anyone would do that I DON'T KNOW!). I personally got the DaVinci, seen below, and have had no issues with it. Matilda sleeps very well as can be seen in the below photo. She didn't transition to the crib until she was 4 months, she slept with us until then.

I have listed three different crib options below, but remember it depends on your price point, color choices, convertibility options, etc. Depending on that you may not choose one of the three.

Convertibility is a great thing, because you buy the crib and can utilize it until the child is a small toddler. The sad thing about most of these convertable options is that you need to purchase the conversion kit separately. If the conversion kit and rails are included MAKE SURE you put everything in a safe place. My sister went to assemble her son's into a bed and they couldn't remember where the rails were so they had to go buy them.

Anyway, just a few tips and tricks on looking for the best baby crib. Good luck!

DaVinci Kalani 4-in-1 Crib in 7 finishes

The DaVinci Kalani crib comes in 7 finishes, Cherry, Chestnut, Ebony, Espresso, Grey, Honey Oak, and White. This crib also has 4 adjustable mattress settings and the assembly is very simple as well. This crib can convert to a toddler bed, day bed and full sized bed with the conversion kits sold separately. This crib was one of the most purchased and loved cribs in 2013 and 2014. The price point is a little more expensive than others, but it boasts the price for the ability to not scratch or dent the crib itself. According to reviews this does in fact hold true!

Dream on Me 7-in-1 Crib in 6 finishes

The Dream on Me crib comes in 6 finishes, Espresso, Cherry, Black, Natural, Royal Blue and White. The crib has the ability to adjust the mattress and the assembly is very easy aside from the sticker removal on the parts. The curved top is very unique to this crib. The crib can convert into a toddler bed, day bed, twin bed with 2 setup options, and a full size bed with 2 set up options. The price point is a little high (normally $209.99), however for the usability, the price is worth it!!!
